The 4 passions that describe me best: Dogs, College football (The Ohio State Buckeyes!), Camping & the Great Outdoors, and World Travel. Being out in nature is truly my happy place. Camping (glamping nowadays!), hiking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, and scuba diving are my absolute favorite activities. Doing these with my sweet dog, Miss Daisy, makes life that much better! My other passions are traveling the world (46 countries & counting!), reading and watching topics on military history, and anything to do with building, remodeling, and architecture, especially the great architectural achievements found in Europe.

God, family, music, theatre, Kairos Prison Ministry. That pretty much sums me up. After an exciting day of learning and growing at HRS, you can find me at one of these. I am a mom of 2, plus a dog, gecko, and axolotl and I LOVE living in the Midwest! Born and raised in the Midwest, the farm life is for me. I feel lost in the city and much prefer the sound of animals to cars. I usually have a lot of irons in the fire so I long for days lounging outside or at a campfire and just enjoying nature.

TI long to have a house in the middle of the forest, sleeping on a cozy mattress while hearing the sounds of hummingbirds and feeling the presence of nature. Waking up and living a life like we used to without any technology is what I miss. I can feel the cold breeze and warm sunshine while drinking milk and playing the song "What a Wonderful World," by Louis Armstrong, reminiscing about the good old days when nature brought happiness and fulfillment to my life.

I might not be the life of the party, yet somehow my friends always seek me out for hangouts. I can be both introverted and extroverted, depending on the situation. Speaking of comfort, ice cream is my favorite treat. I love flavors like rocky road, pistachio, mango, and vanilla. I also feel fortunate to enjoy nuts and seafood - foods that many people are allergic to - without any problems. When it comes to entertainment, I prefer to skip suspense and thrillers. Instead, I enjoy watching Rom-Coms, Sci-Fi adventures, and comedies that always make me smile. In addition to movies, I love to sing and dance, often putting on shows in the bathroom while pretending I’m moving like Parris Goebel. I look forward to the Christmas season for its festive decorations, joyful spirit, and the warmth of family gatherings.
